4th generation green bean casserole

Today I made green bean casserole with my grandpa. This recipe has a story behind it.

My great grandma (Papa's mom) found this recipe and taught my Grandma Kathy how to make it. Then, my mom and then me.

Here's how you make it. First, preheat your oven to 350. Then, we sauteed the onion over medium heat.

Sauteeing the onions

Then, we added three drained cans cut green beans. After that, we added one can cream of mushroom soup and a little milk to wash out the can. Next, we added one jar of Old English Cheese. After that, we added three slices of cubed bread.

Ingredients

Mixing!

Then we mixed it all together and we put it in a large 9x13 pan. Then we put it in the oven for 30 minutes. At the end, we topped it with crispy french fried onions. Next, we ate it and it was so good!

I had so much fun making this with my grandpa and I hope you make it too. This recipe is special!
